An inflow of students from African countries to Swiss GBI is expected in 2022
Swiss Geneva Business Institute’s training and internship programmes have aroused great interest on the African continent. This was stated by the director of Malawi Agency for Education abroad DISC Doreen Dalitso Kayoyo. Over the years, Ms. Dorin has sent hundreds of students from the African continent to study abroad. And if earlier residents of African countries chose India or China to get higher education abroad, with the appearance of Swiss Geneva Business Institute programme «training and internships», interest in this educational institution has increased significantly. The fact is that, according to Ms. Doreen, even after receiving a foreign diploma, graduates still have the problem of finding a job without work experience. An information story about the cooperation of DISCOM with Swiss GBI was broadcast on central television. «Swiss Geneva Business Institute has become popular in the information space of Africa due to the fact that students have paid internships in the best 5* hotels of the Mediterranean coast during their studies. They gain work experience, skills in tourism and make useful acquaintances with employers,» Doreen Dalitso Kayoyo noted. Students have a unique opportunity to work in a luxury hotel in Turkey or in another country of the world immediately after receiving their Swiss GBI diploma. Therefore, the director of the agency DISCOM predicts a significant inflow of students from Africa to Swiss Geneva Business Institute next academic year.
