Cooperation of Swiss GBI with State Association of Chefs of Pakistan
Rector of Swiss GBI International Campus in Antalya, Zafer Bikkenoglu, held a working meeting with the President of State Association of Chefs of Pakistan (Kareichi), Mohamed Chef Afzal. Mr. Afzal got acquainted with technical base and the teaching staff and gave a high assessment of the level of professional training of students. The next working visit is scheduled for March. Mr. Afzal plans to sign a memorandum on international cooperation with Swiss Geneva Business Institute. A refresher course for 15 students from Pakistan has already been included in the curriculum for April. Mr. Afzal is also the President of Institute of Culinary Arts of Pakistan, so he is very interested in this format of cooperation. ‘I am sure that the highly qualified specialists of Swiss GBI will help our students to significantly improve their professional level. Turkey is rightfully considered one of the world leaders in tourism, and your International Campus is located in Antalya. This is one of the best higher schools in the world ranking in the field of hospitality’ the guest noted. During the next visit, Mr. Afzal also offered to conduct a workshop for students on cooking Pakistani cuisine. Within the framework of long-term cooperation, it is planned to sign an agreement on dual degree diplomas, according to which Pakistani students will receive offline education at the Swiss GBI International campus in Antalya.
